AI 101
Learn the basics of what AI is and how it works
About this course
Learn how AI actually works before you start building anything with it. It can state something false with total confidence and sound completely sure of itself. Ask it the same question twice and you can get two different answers. Let a conversation run long enough and it starts forgetting how it began, or the tool just hits a wall.
AI 101 covers all of it, the parts that actually trip people up once they're hands-on building AI products or workflows without code.
This course is for anyone about to start building AI products or workflows without writing code, before they get into the hands-on build. No technical background needed.
It's fully online with lifetime access. Go at your own pace, and come back to any lesson whenever a concept needs a refresher before you start building.
What you'll walk away with:
- Write a prompt specific enough to get a usable answer on the first try, or just ask AI to write the prompt for you when you're stuck
- Catch a confidently-wrong, hallucinated answer before you act on it
- Know why a tool suddenly hits a rate limit or starts forgetting earlier parts of a conversation, and what to do about it
- Set up the three blueprint files, a PRD, a sitemap, and a user journey map, that keep AI from guessing once you start directing it to build something
