Privacy Policy
An Eden Ventures Initiative
Apex Human (operated by Eden Ventures) is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) of the Philippines. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a data subject. By enrolling in any Apex Human program, you consent to the practices described below.
1. Who We Are

2. What Data We Collect
At enrollment, we collect:
- Full name and email address
- Phone number and alternate contact channel
- City of residence
- Employer or company name (enterprise enrollments)
- Payment transaction records (processed by third-party payment providers — we do not store full card details)
During the program, we may collect:
- Session attendance and participation records
- Post-session feedback responses
- Photographs or video recordings taken during sessions (see Section 6)
3. Why We Collect Your Data
Your personal data is collected and used solely for the following purposes:
- Confirming and administering your enrollment
- Communicating session details, updates, and pre-session materials
- Issuing Certificates of Completion
- Fulfilling Builder’s Bundle tool credits and partner benefits
- Sending Apex Human program updates and marketing communications (only if you have opted in)
- Complying with legal and regulatory obligations
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data on the following legal bases under RA 10173:
- (a) performance of a contract — your enrollment agreement;
- (b) your consent, provided at the time of enrollment; and
- (c) legitimate interests of Apex Human in operating and improving its programs.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your data only with:
- Venue partners — for session logistics on a need-to-know basis only
- Builder’s Bundle partners (e.g. Canva, OpenAI, Maya) — to fulfill tool credits
- Enterprise clients — aggregate non-identifiable data in post-program impact reports only; individual participant data shared only where the enterprise client is the enrolling party
All third parties who receive data from Apex Human are required to handle it confidentially and in compliance with applicable privacy laws.
6. Photography and Recordings
Apex Human sessions may be photographed or partially recorded. By enrolling, you consent to the use of your likeness in Apex Human’s website, social media, and marketing materials. If you do not wish to appear in photographs or recordings, you must notify us in writing at hello@apexhuman.ai at least 48 hours before your first session.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for three (3) years from the date of your last enrollment, or longer where required by Philippine law (e.g. financial records). After this period, your data will be securely deleted or anonymized. Payment records are retained for the period required under applicable tax and accounting regulations.
8. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, destruction, or alteration. These include access controls, encrypted communications, and restricted data handling by authorized personnel only. In the event of a personal data breach that may affect your rights, we will notify you within seventy-two (72) hours of becoming aware of the incident.
9. Third-Party Platforms
Apex Human programs use third-party tools including Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, Replit, Canva, ByteDance, and others. Your use of these platforms is subject to each provider’s own privacy policy and terms of service. Apex Human is not responsible for the data practices of third-party providers. Students are encouraged to review the privacy policies of all platforms used during the program.
10. Your Rights as a Data Subject
Under RA 10173, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Erasure — request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention obligations
- Objection — object to processing of your data for direct marketing purposes
- Portability — request your data in a structured, commonly used format
- Withdraw consent — withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time
To exercise any of these rights, contact us in writing at hello@apexhuman.ai. We will respond within fifteen (15) business days.
11. Cookies and Website Data
The Apex Human website (apexhuman.ai) may use cookies and similar tracking technologies for analytics and site performance. You may configure your browser to refuse cookies; however, this may affect site functionality. We do not use cookies for targeted advertising.
12. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to enrolled students via email at least fourteen (14) days before they take effect. The current version will always be available at apexhuman.ai and from the Operations Lead upon request.
Complaints
If you believe your data privacy rights have been violated, you may file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC) of the Philippines at complaints@privacy.gov.ph or visit privacy.gov.ph.
